Legal Proceedings in Cyprus Resume

Nicosia, 14 March - CYPRUS/COURT/BELGRADE/BANK
At the Nicosia district court the legal proceedings resumed Thursday in the case of Slovenia vs. the Cyprus branch of the Beograjska banka (Belgrade Bank). Belgrade Bank Deputy Manager was heard by the prosecuting attorney representing Slovenia. The witness could not answer the question of who the bank's shareholders were, however, it claimed that the bank was not influenced by Belgrade's policy. The proceedings are to continue between 2 and 4 April.
