Migrations front-and-centre in govt's first year

Ljubljana, 27 August - National security challenges have frequently been at the forefront during the government's first year in office. Slovenia saw the number of migrants spike, even as the ranks of the police and the military have continued to decline, prompting calls for a reform of the national security system.
