Protesters demand farm minister's resignation over bear, wolf culling
Ljubljana, 31 August - Animal rights and environmental NGOs urged Agriculture Minister Aleksandra Pivec to resign, as they protested against the Slovenian authorities' plans to cull endangered brown bears and wolves. They believes the minister is unaware of the role of sustainable agriculture and only promotes the arguments of farmers.
