Tax debt continues falling

Ljubljana, 26 September - A report by the Financial Administration (FURS) has shown the trend of decreasing tax debt in Slovenia was sustained in 2018 for the fifth year running. Total tax debt fell by 4.9% to EUR 1.20 billion by the end of December, which FURS attributes primarily to a 14% increase in the recovery of all unconditionally recoverable levies.

Slovenia poste a budget surplus of 1.2% of GDP for 2018.
