New academic year starts with a pomp

Ljubljana, 1 October - Slovenian universities and student organisations will throw reception parties on Tuesday to welcome thousands of freshmen and usher in a new academic year. The biggest affair will be held in Ljubljana, coinciding with the university's centenary.
