Lek to move antibiotics production from Slovenia to Austria

Prevalje, 1 October - Lek, the Slovenian subsidiary of Swiss multinational Novartis, has announced phasing out the production of antibiotics in Slovenia's Prevalje in two years' time. In the meantime, the production will be moved to neighbouring Austria and Prevalje will become part of Novartis's emerging global centre for its technical operations.
