Poor basic living conditions highlighted as Third Age festival begins

Ljubljana, 1 October - Calls to improve the economic and housing situation of the elderly marked the start of the three-day Festival for the Third Age. The Pensioners' Association (ZDUS) took the opportunity to issue a list of demands to the government, including for the payment of an annual allowance and an immediate indexation of pensions.
