Medication amendment stirs worry over blood becoming commodity

Ljubljana, 3 October - The parliamentary Health Committee prepared for plenary session changes to the medicinal products act which would abolish a priority supply of medications using blood plasma extracted in Slovenia. At Thursday's session, the committee expressed concern over blood turning into a commodity, but the government is convinced that will not be the case.
