Higher Unemployment Rate in January

Ljubljana, 24 March - SLOVENIA/STATISTICS/EMPLOYMENT
Unemployment rate in Slovenia was up by 1.5 percent in January compared to December 1996, the National Office of Statistics reported. The unemployment rate reached 14.6 percent in January; 14.1 percent for men and 15.1 percent for women.
