Calls for expanded police powers mark Day of National Security

Ljubljana, 16 October - A conference marking the Day of National Security heard on Wednesday calls in favour of beefing up police powers and policing technology to adapt to modern reality. Also highlighted in the face of modern threats was the need for cooperation between police and other security bodies and services.
