Janković to appeal in tax evasion, abuse of office cases
Ljubljana, 17 October - Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković will appeal two new indictments lodged against him earlier this month on suspicion of tax evasion and abuse of office, his lawyer Janez Koščak told the STA on Thursday. Janković said the indictments, which refer to the Stožice sports complex project and a sale of Mercator shares, were a classic attack on him.
