Catalonia support committee sends letter of protest to Slovenian, EU officials
Ljubljana, 21 October - A Slovenian committee set up in support of Catalan political prisoners has sent a letter of protest to Slovenian and European leaders over the high prisons sentences for nine Catalan leaders and the silence in Europe surrounding them.

First meeting of a committee supporting Catalan former leaders, established on the initiative of former President Milan Kučan, philosopher and sociologist Spomenka Hribar, Ljubljana Faculty of Arts professor Rudi Rizman and former Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl.
