Židan stressing importance of rule of law at CoE conference

Strasbourg, 24 October - National Assembly Speaker Dejan Židan, attending a two-day European Conference of Presidents of Parliament from Council of Europe countries in Strasbourg, stressed the importance of this 70-year-old organisation on Thursday. He said countries should always strive for the respect of the rule of law, human rights and democracy.
