Slovenians once again urged to light fewer candles

Ljubljana, 31 October - Slovenians light many candles at graves to observe the Day of Remembrance of the Dead, which leads to substantial amounts of waste. Efforts have been under way in recent years to encourage people to swap the single-use candles for electric ones, or to use painted stones or small banners instead of candles to reduce waste.
