Eurobarometer: 47 percent of Slovenes in Favour of EU Membership and 39 percent for Joining NATO

Almost half of Slovenes (47%) would vote for joining the European Union (EU) in a potential referendum, while slightly less (39%) would support Slovenia's entry into NATO, according to a poll conducted by the EU's Eurobarometer polling unit and Slovenia's Gral Marketing in November last year, when similar surveys were being under way in another 19 Central and Eastern European countries.
