National Council could veto abolishment of benefit for low-income earners
Ljubljana, 5 November - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, is meeting on Tuesday to veto a bill which abolishes a special social benefit for low-income earners. The changes to the law on social security benefits, which have divided the public and politics, were passed on 29 October in a 34:18 vote.
