Platform of New Social Agreement Drawn Up

Partnership among the most important social groups in Slovenia has been developing since 1992; two years later an agreement was reached turning the Economic Social Council (ESS) into an institution taking care of expressing and harmonizing various interests, while a social agreement was to become an instrument of harmonization. The first social agreement was signed in 1995, the second one in 1996 and the third one is to be signed at the end of May, when the 1996 social agreement (and the general collective agreement for economy) expires.
