TAB hoping to have deal on lithium-ion batteries sealed by year end

Prevalje, 14 November - TAB, the Mežica-based maker of starter batteries for cars and industrial batteries, confirmed on Thursday it was pushing to branch out into production of lithium-ion batteries and agree on production with its Asian partner by the end of the year. Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek announced the state would support TAB in its efforts.
