Candidate for cohesion minister Mlinar fails to secure committee support
Ljubljana, 17 December - Angelika Mlinar, the candidate for cohesion policy minister, failed to secure support in parliamentary committee on Tuesday. Following a debate dominated by her citizenship and loyalty, the EU Affairs Committee rejected her in a 9:7 vote and the Economy Committee vote was split down the middle.
