NSi leader protesting over state secretary's Christmas greeting
Ljubljana, 8 January - Education Ministry State Secretary Jernej Štromajer tweeted "Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal" on Christmas Eve, a move which made some of the public, particularly Christians, go up in arms. Matej Tonin, the leader of New Slovenia - Christian Democrats (NSi), has thus addressed a protest letter to Prime Minister Marjan Šarec.
