Stojan Kerbler, photographer who elevated the mundane into art
Ptuj, 7 February - Stojan Kerbler, the first photographer to win the Prešeren Prize for life-time achievement, has received international acclaim for his black-and-white portraits of everyday life in rural eastern Slovenia, a medium and environment that he has remained faithful to all his life.
