Alabama hydro plant's new turbine runner made in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 11 February - Litostroj Power, the maker of hydro turbines and other hydro mechanical equipment, has manufactured a turbine drive wheel, also called a runner, for US hydroelectric power plant Lay Dam, based in Alabama. The cooperation with US Southern Company is a major step in Litostroj making its mark in the North American market.
