Pending court cases reduced to below 1990 level

Ljubljana, 12 February - Slovenian courts received more than 839,000 cases for deliberation last year, resolving 850,000. In fact, the Supreme Court's president told reporters on Wednesday that the number of pending cases was reduced to below the level at the end of 1990, even though the judiciary's powers have expanded since.
