Zajc's third podium finish of this winter was embellished with a strong performance by several more Slovenians. Domen Prevc was fifth, Anže Semenič 12th, Žiga Jelar 14th, Peter Prevc 20th and Juri Tepeč 21st.

"A podium finish again, this weekend was really excellent for me. I'm not too sorry about the jury cancelling the second round, the conditions were too dangerous," Zajc said after the competition, adding he had been among the best consistently during the jumping at the Kulm flying hill.

The head coach of the Slovenian team Gorazd Bertoncelj was also happy with the results: "The boys were really good as a team. We added another notch today compared to Saturday and showed we're a really good flying team."
