Ministry says potential stricter emission rules are political decision

Ljubljana, 19 February - In the face of growing opposition against plans by a cement maker in the Soča Valley to increase the amount of waste it coincinerates, the Environment Ministry has said that Slovenia could impose stricter emission rules, however, this would have consequences for the economy and "such a decision can only be a political one".
