Slovenian teachers satisfied with profession, less with pay and status

Ljubljana, 24 March - The latest OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) indicates that the majority of Slovenian teachers are generally satisfied with their job. However, they are less content when it comes to their pay and status. Only a small part of them believe that their profession is valued in society.

Slovenian teachers are older and more experienced than the OECD average.
