Opposition mostly happy with stimulus package, but wants new police powers thrown out
Ljubljana, 30 March - Opposition parties mostly voiced support on Monday for the government-proposed new legislative package addressing the coronavirus crisis, the left-leaning ones have however expressed criticism of provisions giving police sweeping powers to control the movement of individuals. There is also some unease about the police powers within the coalition.
