Special council set up to cut red tape
Brdo pri Kranju, 19 May - A Debureaucratisation Council has been set up to tackle the red tape, seen by many as an obstacle for the Slovenian economy. Prime Minister Janez Janša announced late on Tuesday that the council would be headed by Ivan Simič, a tax expert who has headed both Slovenia's and Serbia's tax administrations in the past 15 years.
