Eyewear maker Safilo increases revenue in 2019, profit down

Ormož, 6 June - Eyewear maker Safilo, owned by the Italian Safilo group, exceeded its production and sales targets in 2019. The company generated more than EUR 32 million in revenue, an increase of some EUR 2.5 million on 2018 and almost EUR 7 million above plans. Profit however dropped to EUR 800,000 from EUR 1.25 million.
