ZNP urges authorities to step up prosecuting threats against journalists

Ljubljana, 8 July - The Association of Journalists and Commentators (ZNP) has condemned recent death threats against Igor Pirkovič, a journalist of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija and author of the cultural programme of this year's Statehood Day state ceremony. Such threats are unacceptable and the perpetrators rarely brought to court, it said.
