Hungarian expert warns media need to be partial to European values

Ljubljana, 10 July - Agnes Urban, a Hungarian media expert, warned in a panel debate on Friday against adopting an impartial stance in the face of a government media power grab, saying the situation in Hungary had not been about left or right politics but about preserving democracy and respecting European values. She said the media needed to be partial to such things.
