Slovenian politics largely welcomes EU budget deal

Ljubljana, 21 July - Slovenian politicians have largely welcomed the deal on the 2021-2027 EU budget and the post-pandemic recovery fund, arguing the funds Slovenia is entitled to would help it implement its development goals. Criticism about less funding for science and the environment and about the rule of law debate came from the opposition.
