Slovenia's population up 0.6% to 2.097m, number of citizens down

Ljubljana, 31 July - On 1 April, Slovenia had a total of 2,097,195 residents, which is 12,894 or 0.6% more than on the same date last year, show data from the Statistics Office (SURS). In the first quarter of the year, the number of Slovenian citizens fell, while the number of foreigners residing in Slovenia increased.
