Defence minister considering mountain rescue insurance

Begunje na Gorenjskem, 2 September - As the number of costly rescue missions in the mountains is increasing, Defence Minister Matej Tonin said he was considering introducing an insurance scheme to cover at least part of the high costs. An average helicopter-assisted mountain rescue operation costs EUR 10,000, he said in the town of Begunje na Gorenjskem on Wednesday.
