Primorska Reunification Day celebrated in Ankaran

Ankaran, 12 September - The coastal town of Ankaran will today host the annual celebration of Primorska Reunification Day, which is observed in memory of the day in 1947 when the western region of Primorska was reunited with Slovenia after being under Italian rule since the end of WWI, much of which period also under Fascist rule.
