DeSUS threatens to leave coalition if Pivec stays agriculture minister

Ljubljana, 21 September - As the opposition filed a motion of no-confidence in Agriculture Minister Aleksandra Pivec on Monday, the head of the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) deputy group Franc Jurša said the coalition would lose DeSUS's support if its former leader remained minister. Pivec has recently stepped down as DeSUS head due to suspected ethics breaches.
