Budget deficit at EUR 2.3bn in first eight months

Ljubljana, 30 September - Slovenia had a budget deficit of EUR 2.3 billion in the first eight months of the year, as expenditure swelled due to coronavirus-related outlays whereas the lockdown and the ensuing slump in economic activity depressed revenue.
