Sovre Prize for best literary translation goes to Aleksandra Rekar

Ljubljana, 13 October - Aleksandra Rekar has won this year's Sovre Prize for her translation of Bosnian-Croatian writer Miljenko Jergović's Rodbina, an almost thousand-pages-long historical fiction novel. Rekar's translation shows profound knowledge of the novel's topics, said the Association of Slovenian Literary Translators.
