Timbuktu, Timbuktu wins best illustrated book award

Ljubljana, 27 October - Timbuktu, Timbuktu, a children's book written by award-winning Peter Svetina and illustrated by Igor Šinkovec, has won this year's Kristina Brenkova Award for best Slovenian illustrated book. It brings over 40 extremely short stories, termed by some prose poems, which abound in nonsense and are full of life, humour and imagination.
