Slovenia's 2019 gross R&D spending record high

Ljubljana, 5 November - Slovenia's gross domestic expenditure on research and development (R&D) amounted to a record 989.3 million euro in 2019, up 10.8% from 2018 and 5.8% more than in the previous record year 2013, preliminary data released by the Statistics Office (SURS) show. The bulk of the spending - over 61% - came from businesses.
