Amnesty urges parliament to reject higher fines for gatherings

Ljubljana, 24 November - Amnesty International Slovenia has called on the National Assembly to reject a proposal to increase fines for flouting restriction on public gatherings which is part of the sixth economic stimulus package. The NGO thinks the measure would be disproportionate and not in line with best public health practices.
