Start of meteorological winter to bring snow to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 30 November - Slovenia is in for a couple of snowy days, beginning on Wednesday, right after the start of meteorological winter. Snowfall is expected to start on Wednesday morning and get heavier by Thursday. In central Slovenia, 5-15 centimetres of snow is expected, while in some parts of the country the snow blanket could be up to 20 centimetres thick.
