Singer upsets with statement on Slovenian troops abroad

Ljubljana, 30 November - A statement by Jadranka Juras during a debate on the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) in which the jazz singer and animal rights activist spoke of the killing of local people at international missions has prompted strong reactions. Defence Minister Matej Tonin labelled it a major scandal and SAF force commander Miha Škerbinc a grave insult.
