Some 4.5 million visitors went to cultural events in 2019

Ljubljana, 3 December - Slovenia saw almost 25,000 cultural events in 2019, which attracted 4.5 million visitors, show the Statistics Office data released ahead of The Merry Day of Culture, marked on Thursday, the birthday anniversary of the country's most famous poet France Prešeren. Culture generated 1.1% of GDP last year.
