Almost 27% increase in deaths in October year-on-year

Ljubljana, 9 December - A total of 17,575 persons died in Slovenia in the first ten months of 2020, up by 2.7% on the same period in 2019, the Statistics Office data show. When it comes to October alone, 2,073 Slovenian residents died or 26.8% more compared with the same month in 2019.
