Slovenia prepares legislation to fight off African swine fever
Ljubljana, 17 December - The National Assembly passed on Thursday the act on emergency measures concerning African swine fever in wild boar to prepare for the potential arrival of the disease in Slovenia, and protect pig farmers. Some opposition parties were critical of some of the envisaged measures, especially wild boar cull.
