Krško nuclear power station shut down as a precaution after quake
Krško, 29 December - The Krško Nuclear Power Station (NEK) was shut down as a precaution Tuesday after a strong 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit near Petrinja, Croatia, around midday. Such a shutdown is standard procedure in the event of a strong earthquake, NEK told the STA.
