Slovenia faces infringement procedure over EU telecom rules

Brussels, 4 February - The European Commission today opened infringement procedures against Slovenia and 23 other member states for failing to enact new EU telecom rules on time. The countries failed to transpose the European Electronic Communications Code, which is to enhance consumers' choices and rights by ensuring clearer contracts and quality of services.
