Slovenia's annual deflation rate at 0.7% in January

Ljubljana, 5 February - Slovenia's consumer price growth remained negative in January, as the annual deflation rate stood at 0.7% mainly due to lower prices of fuels and energy (by 9.4%), the Statistics Office said on Friday.

Deflation at the monthly level in January is attributed mainly to winter sales of clothing and footwear.
