August freak weather damage estimated at EUR 6.66m

Ljubljana, 11 February - Fierce storms with hail and high winds that wreaked havoc across Slovenia in August caused a total of EUR 6.66 million in direct damage to property in 27 municipalities, according to the final estimate confirmed by the government on Thursday. Budget funds will be available to repair the damage.
